Introducing the International Mahakali High Priestess for the Pre-Hindu Shamanic Tradition! It is with great honor and deepest humbleness that I graciously accept Prajna Shiva Kalidasa’s recognition as the International Mahakali High Priestess. I am still in awe of having been bestowed this title, and will continue to devote my life’s work to bring consciousness to the Divine Feminine and the Sacred Shakti. Born and raised as a dutiful Chinese-Catholic daughter in Hong Kong, I had visions and mystical encounters since young. Called by spirits, I would venture to the rooftop, and sat gazing at the open sky, communing with Nature. I sensed there were two aspects in me: an old soul that transcended the role I played, and the young one who was a fearful, timid child. Without guidance, I dismissed my gnosis and direct knowing, and learned to defer to authorities, especially to my raging alcoholic father. Bound up by dogmas and traditions, I continued playing the dutiful role, and focused on my education as a psychotherapist. Awakened at age 33 through a crisis in 1985, I was propelled on a spiritual odyssey, and experienced many cosmic encounters and mystical visions. The recurring message was the one that I was to be a beacon for the Sacred Feminine, and received direct teachings from Kuan Yin, Blessed Mother, and Mary Magdalene. Over a decade ago, I entered the mandala of Bön-Buddhism, the indigenous religion of Tibet, and have been authorized to teach Bön healing practices, and lead workshops in the U.S. and France. I recognized that my mission in this lifetime is to integrate East and West in cultivating a consciousness based on non-duality and union of Sacred Feminine and Masculine. As a healer, I was inspired by Carl Jung’s “no birth of consciousness without pain,” and have embarked on a spiritual/human journey to understand the transformation of suffering. My path took me to Tibetan meditation, Jungian studies, clinical hypnotherapy, and, later, a doctorate in Transpersonal Psychology. A Reiki Master/Teacher and a diplomat in Energy Psychology, I have been in private practice since 1988, integrating Buddhist principles, dreamwork, shamanic healing with Western psychology and neurobiology. My calling as a mystic shaman came in a powerful dream 16 years ago, and after many years of studying, I was recognized to be a teacher and have begun teaching “The Way of the Mystic Shaman.” A guiding principle is “As Above so Below; As Below so Above.” The only path to transformation is to embrace our humanity through cultivating compassion and wisdom. After emerging from a 49 days Dark retreat at the end of September, I have encountered a deepening of my calling beginning with Prajna Shiva Kalidasa’s acknowledgment of my embodiment in this lifetime as the Mahakali High Priestess. A week later, I was recognized by the Mystical Voodoo High Priestess, Mama Lola, as a High Priestess as well. Thus, it is with much gratitude and awe that I am now stepping into this honor and become a beacon for the Sacred Shakti.
